Roofing Details & Installation

  • A: Most roof replacements are completed in just one day, weather permitting. Larger or more complex homes may take 1–3 days. Either way, we’ll provide a clear timeline up front and keep you updated from start to finish.

  • A: Yes. A full tear-off allows us to inspect the decking underneath and ensures your new roof lasts as long as possible.

  • A: Underlayment is a protective barrier between your shingles and the roof deck. It adds waterproofing and is essential for a quality roof.

  • A: Yes. We’ll help you find a color that matches or complements your home’s exterior—and walk you through energy-efficient options too.

  • A: We primarily install GAF asphalt roofing shingles, one of the most trusted and widely used roofing materials in the country. GAF is a premium brand known for durability, affordability, and consistent performance—making it a go-to choice for homes across North Carolina. While GAF is our preferred brand, we can install other shingle types when needed to fit your home or budget.

    We offer all three of GAF’s most popular shingle styles:

    • 3-Tab Shingles – Clean-cut, classic, and budget-friendly.

    • Designer Shingles – A high-end option with the look of slate or wood shakes—without the extra cost or weight.

Storms, Hail & Leaks

  • A: Look for dented gutters, granule loss, or lifted shingles. After a storm, we recommend a free professional inspection—especially if hail was 1" or larger.

  • A: Cover what you can inside, then give us a call. We offer emergency tarp services and fast repairs to prevent further damage.

  • A: Yes. If the damage is storm-related, we’ll walk you through the process and can even meet with your adjuster to make sure nothing gets missed.
